1. Can nasal tip aesthetics be performed without touching the nasal bone?

Yes, we can aestheticize the tip of the nose without touching the nasal bone.

2. Is it appropriate to perform Rhinoplasty surgery on a filled nose, are there any risks?

We remove the filling made during the open technique operation, clean the nasal area as much as possible, then reshape the nose.

3. How long should I wait for revision surgery? 

Ideally, the waiting period is 1 year. However, if there is a significant deformity or malfunction, this period can be brought forward.

4. When does the nose shape fit perfectly? Will there be a change over time?

There is swelling in the first weeks after surgery. Swelling heals by 70-80% in 3 months. Details become clearer. It takes 1 year for the nose to take its full shape. If it has thick skin and oily skin, this period may be longer.

5. From what age are rhinoplasty surgeries performed? 

Rhinoplasty surgeries can be performed from the age of 16 for women and 17 for men.

6. Can thick skinned skin have a pointed nose tip? Or does it become rounded over time?

It becomes a more pointed nose than before. Surgical operation is planned depending on the patient's request.

7. In which cases is cartilage removed during revision surgery?

In revisions, if there is not enough cartilage in the nose, it can be taken from the ear or rib.

8. Are there any changes in facial features and appearance? 

Yes, of course. Rhinoplasty is actually facial aesthetics. The changes we make in the nose positively affect the face.

9. Can I see the estimated appearance of the nose before the surgery? 

Yes, we give information about how the nose will look with simulation in our preliminary interviews.

10. Is there a lot of swelling after surgery? When will my swelling go away? 

Swelling is not too much. 80% of the swelling disappears in the first 2 months. It takes 1 year for the nose to fit completely.

11. Is there a lot of bruising after surgery? Does this situation vary according to the skin structure?

It is usually very little. There are also cases where there is no bruising at all. Bruising can be seen a little more in people with thin skin structure and light skin. But with the techniques we use, bruising is very rare.

12. When do you call for a follow-up after surgery? 

We give our patients a control appointment for silicone on the 3rd day after surgery and for plaster on the 7th day. Then we want to see you in the 2nd month, 6th month and 1st year after the surgery.

13. When do you remove the bandages? 

We remove the bandages and plaster in the 1st week of surgery. But the skin is cleaned and the bandage is applied again, and it stays for a week.

14. Are tampons used in surgeries? 

When we correct the curvature of the cartilage in the nose, we use a small silicone. You do not feel pain when we remove it.

15. How many hours does the surgery take? 

Surgery times vary between 2 hours and 3 hours on average.

16. How many days should I rest? 

We recommend resting for 3 to 7 days after the surgery.

17. Can I go abroad directly after the surgery? 

We recommend our patients to stay in Istanbul for 7 days. To remove the cast and make the necessary control. Mostly our patients can go abroad on the 8th day.

18. Do you perform your aesthetic nose surgeries with general anesthesia?

We perform the surgeries with general anesthesia in order to make both the surgeon and the patient more comfortable and therefore to get better results.
